The federal government plans to spend around Rs. 31 billion in Karachi to build an information technology park.
This IT park will contain around 210 IT firms with a total workforce of 8,400 people, as well as a multi-story office structure. Furthermore, the park will be 106,449 square metres in size, with eight storeys above ground and three subterranean levels.
A senior spokesperson at the Ministry of Information Technology stated that these IT zones and parks will allow for more cost-effective collaboration, digitization, R&D entrepreneurship, and innovation.
The key objective of this IT Park is to provide appropriate facilities and services for firms in the IT sector.
