The Cyber Crime Wing of Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) has finalized preparations for conducting a main operation against those who have made fake identities on social media websites, like Facebook, and are fleecing citizens of their hard-earned money.
Citizens fake IDs are being made to loot their relatives and close friends and such cases are rising manifold by passing day, as per sources in FIA.
“The Cyber Crime Wing will very soon bust the whole network behind the fake IDs,” they claimed.
As per sources, the FIA received over 3,000 written complaints from citizens in the first seven weeks of 2021, alleging that money was extracted from their close relatives via social media fraud.
