Noman Ali displayed an impressive performance on the fourth day of the Test match against Sri Lanka, claiming all six Sri Lankan wickets.
During the fourth day of the match, Sri Lanka lost five wickets and only added 62 runs. Noman Ali, a left-arm spinner picked all six wickets putting the Sri Lankan team in a difficult situation at 143 – 6, while still trailing by 267 runs.
Noman dismissed Nishan Madushka in the morning session and quickly removed the Sri Lankan captain, Dimuth Karunaratne in the second over, with Imram-ul-Haq making a great catch at short leg. Kausal Mendis got dismissed at 14, while Dinesh Chandimal attempted to play the paddle sweep but ended up becoming the fourth victim of Noman’s impressive bowling.
Agelo Mathews then joined Dhananjaya de Silva elevating the scores while playing carefully. However, Dhananjaya got dismissed with Sadeera Samarawickrama getting removed shortly after.
