On Thursday, The US embassy in Pakistan with Higher education Commission announced 700 additional graduate level scholarships for Pakistani women.
In an official statement released by the US embassy said, “the scholarships will starts this year and will be eligible till 2023, for two years for master degrees, it will be awarded to outstanding and remarkable female students in different programs such social science, Health, Agriculture, and business.”
The communique quoted the USAID deputy Mission Director Michael Nehrbess as saying, “the new 700 scholarships will be awarded to females to achieve their educational goals, who have outstanding performance are super talented.”
The total scholarship awarded students come to 6000 by US Agency for international development’s Merit and needs based scholarship program.
