For the First Time Ever Central London Light Up for Blessed Month of Ramadan

For the first time ever, the West End of London has been decked to honour the holy month of Ramadan.

To celebrate the beginning of the holy month, the famous area of the UK capital has been decorated with fanoos lanterns and lights in the shapes of crescent moons and stars. The words “Happy Ramadan” have been placed on Coventry Street between Piccadilly and Leicester Square.

A substantial portion of the city’s Muslim population, which comprises around 15% of the entire population, as well as visitors from the Gulf enjoy the neighbourhood because of its top-notch dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
