Ford has introduced a petrol scent to help with the transition to electric vehicles

Ford stresses that the perfume will not smell exactly like gasoline, and that Mach-Eau is made to “delight the nose of any wearer.” To pay homage to the Mustang history, it incorporates smoky accords, rubber notes, and even a ‘animal’ element.”

The scent was unveiled by Ford this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The perfume was produced to “help dispel preconceptions around electric cars and convince traditional automobile aficionados of the possibilities of electric vehicles,” according to the maker.
