Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Wants to See 2016’s Pakistan Again

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), expressed his desire for a return to the political situation of 2016 in the country. He made these comments while speaking to the media in London. Sharif mentioned that those who were trying to remove him from politics are now fading away from the political scene, thanks to the blessings of the Almighty.

In a tweet, he mentioned how he was imprisoned for not taking a salary from his son, while a proven corrupt individual was considered truthful and honest. He criticized those who sent him to jail for welcoming someone who allegedly looted Rs60 billion.

PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry stated that elections would be held in the country upon Nawaz Sharif’s return. Chaudhry clarified that Sharif would lead the party’s election campaign. Regarding the May 9 incident, Chaudhry emphasized the importance of bringing the culprits to justice.
