Free Metro, Orange Line Travel for Seniors, Disabled, and Students

Free rides and pay hikes! The caretaker government in Punjab is making big announcements. Senior citizens, disabled people and students can now travel for free on the Metro and Orange Line. Meanwhile, minimum wage has been raised to Rs. 32,000. The caretaker Chief Minister is certainly trying to win over voters before the upcoming election.

The government of Punjab has given senior citizens, people with disabilities, and students permission to travel free of charge on the Metro and Orange Line.

At the 25th Cabinet meeting, which was presided over by the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab and held in Multan, the 39 points on the agenda were discussed. Provincial ministers, advisors, the chief secretary, the inspector general of police, and related authorities were in attendance.

In light of the fact that the caretaker government has decided that the minimum pay for workers should be increased to 32,000 rupees, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered that an immediate notification be issued.
