Saleem Ahmed Khan, originally from Pakistan, arrived in the UAE in 2009 and began working as a taxi driver. However, his aspirations went far beyond that role. In 2013, when ride-hailing service Uber launched in Dubai, Khan saw an opportunity and joined a limousine company.
He saved diligently and by 2019, he had accumulated enough funds to start his own driver fleet company. Today, Khan’s company has 850 drivers across the UAE, and he is in the process of launching a luxury transport company with a fleet of 20 cars, aiming to expand it to 100 cars by the end of 2023. Khan’s journey is a testament to hard work, smart financial planning, and the opportunities available in the UAE.
