General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Army Staff, praised the role of the armed forces in assisting the civil administration in carrying out Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Rs. 1.1 trillion Karachi Transformation Plan, which was launched in September 2020.
During a visit to Corps V’s headquarters, the army chief praised law enforcement agencies’ efforts in reducing crime and terrorism in the city. The Corps Commander, Lt Gen. Muhammad Saeed, welcomed the army commander, who was briefed on the various roles of the force in the city.
