Gilgit-Baltistan to Launch Doorstep Document Delivery Service as Time-Saving System

More flexible and time saving system has been launched by GB government in order to facilitate citizens with collaboration of Pakistan post and GB police, as per press release recently.

It’s the first time which would be run in Skardu district in three weeks time. ‘Madadgar Doorstep Delivery Service’ will make it able for the citizens in having important documents for example domicile, birth certificate, legal heirship certificate, police verification, Municipal certificates/approvals, revenue certificates of ownership or transfer, motor car registration etc from the comfort of their homes.

A nominal fee with less time, from submission of form to the delivery of final documents all would be convenient and easy for citizens.

A representative would be just a call away, all the citizens need to call at the revised toll free number and have to schedule an appointment and a representative from the postal service will take the forms to their doorstep.

On behalf of citizen, the forms have been filled and necessary documents attached, the representative will go to the respective office where a dedicated member of the field staff will collect.

Once the desired document is ready to dispatch, postal services would inform and the representative will deliver it to the door of citizen in order to save time and eliminate the factor of waiting in long queue.
