Girl Swallows Mobile During Fight With Brother

The girl was sent to Jayarogya Hospital (JAH) in Gwalior because of the event, where she underwent emergency surgery to remove the phone from her stomach securely. The two-hour emergency surgery took place. According to the doctors, the girl had ten stitches and would shortly be released.

In order to settle a dispute with her brother over the phone, an 18-year-old girl swallowed a Chinese cell phone last Friday in the Bhind region of Madhya Pradesh. The girl was sent to Jayarogya Hospital (JAH) in Gwalior because of the event, where she underwent emergency surgery to remove the phone from her stomach securely.

The girl started having severe stomach ache and frequent vomiting after she swallowed the cell phone out of rage. The family members became really alarmed as a result, and they rushed her to the hospital right away.

When she arrived at JAH, a group of skilled medical professionals under the direction of the department’s head (Dr. Prashant Srivastava), the unit’s head (Dr. Prashant Pipariya), and distinguished associate professor (Dr.) Naveen Kushwaha assumed control of the situation.

The doctors were astonished to learn about the occurrence and found that the gadget could not be removed from the patient’s body using less invasive procedures like endoscopy and laparoscopy after a thorough evaluation that included ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scan. At that point, surgical intervention was judged necessary by the medical community.

The two-hour emergency surgery took place. According to the doctors, the girl was given ten stitches and will shortly be released. Dr Kushwaha, a seasoned medical professional with more than two decades of experience, voiced his surprise at the peculiar situation and said that he had never encountered anything like it in his illustrious career. He also emphasised the need for prudence when delivering smartphones to young children, encouraging parents to determine their child’s age and responsibility.
