Following the rupee depreciation, gold prices hiked in the country on 16th August 2023. As per the statistics revealed by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the rate of this precious commodity observed an increase of Rs. 900 per tola.
The price of gold today settled at Rs. 223,800 per tola after surging by Rs. 900. While the rate of gold observed on 15th August was Rs. 222,900 increasing by Rs. 1,100.
In addition, the rate of 10 grams of gold reached Rs. 191,872 after increasing by Rs. 771 today, Meanwhile, on 15th August the price of 10 grams of gold stood at Rs. 191,101 after soaring by Rs. 943.
