Good News! PIA to Restore Direct Flights to Paris Next Month

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is gearing up to restart its flight services to Paris next month. The airline’s spokesperson revealed during a discussion with a group from the Council of Economic and Energy Journalists in Islamabad that PIA expects to receive safety clearance from the International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) by the end of this month.

Once PIA obtains the clearance, they plan to begin flights to Paris in June. Additionally, they aim to reintroduce direct flights from Pakistan to Heathrow Airport in Britain on August 14.

In preparation for reopening routes to Europe and Britain, PIA has expedited maintenance and overhaul procedures for its Boeing 777 aircraft fleet. Currently, seven Boeing 777 planes are operational, with two more scheduled to join the fleet within the next two months. This expansion will enable PIA to efficiently operate flights to Europe and Britain, boasting a total of nine Boeing 777 planes.
