Currently, this feature is in the works and has been identified in the beta version of the WhatsApp Android app. While there is no specific timeline for its release, being in the beta stage suggests that it will be introduced in the near future. The discovery of this feature was made by WABetaInfo.
The new feature aims to streamline the process of sharing updates across different Meta platforms.
It means WhatsApp users will have the option to update their Status on WhatsApp and simultaneously post it on their Instagram Story with a single tap, similar to the current functionality for sharing Instagram Stories on Facebook.
