Location and geography
Gorakh Hill is a Pakistani hill station in Sindh. It is located in the Kirthar Mountains, 94 kilometers (58 miles) northwest of Dadu city, at an elevation of 5,689 feet (1,734 meters).
Gorakh Hill Station is stretched over 2,500 acres (10 km2) of land on one of Sindh’s highest plateaus. The region is part of Pakistan’s Kirthar Mountain Range, which runs between the Sindh and Baluchistan provinces.
History
Various perspectives on the hill station’s history and genesis have been offered. Gorakhnath, a medieval Hindu saint, is supposed to have traveled widely throughout the hills and surroundings.
Gorakh is a Sanskrit term that implies “shepherding of sheep, cow, and goat, etc.” according to Nandu, a Sanskrit scholar.
Climate
