ISLAMABAD: The federal government has been ordered to disable the services of the Internet all across the country, taking into consideration the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march, as per the records of ARY News. Higher Federation has ordered Transworld and PIE, two major internet service providers, to turn off internet access throughout the country.
The customers will be going through very hard times soon, as internet services are going to be disabled soon. Transworld’s internet services have been shuttered, and the government is expected to close down the PIE’s internet service as well.
Previously, the government had decreed the quick termination of cellphone services in 11 districts of Punjab. Mobile phone services have been instantly suspended, as per telecom sources.
The government has imported orders for the disability of cell phone services in 11 districts, after the situation of PTI’s long march towards Islamabad.
Services in 11 districts, including Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Khoshab, Mianwali, Sialkot, Jhelum, and Rawalpindi, have been closed down till tonight.
In Pakistan, government officials have a rule of closing down the services of cellphones in order to uphold the law and order. Moreover, this measure disrupts the capability of the people to communicate, resulting in widespread public uproar.
