According to the official report, official tenders are floated for the privatization of JCC- Jinnah Convention Center by the Ministry of Privatization and this notification is circulated by the arm of ministry’s publication.
Since a long time, convention center has been on the list of privatization predicting 100 percent transfer of share for the potential buyers upon the acquisition.
However, report also suggests that the money that will be generated after selling it, will be allocated for the development projects that have potential and it will be under the CDA, Capital Development Authority.
Through a competitive bidding, reputed investors either local or international are openly invited for purchase of this Convention Center of Islamabad through a competitive bidding, as per the official notification.
