The Government of KPK, is intending to initiate an education city in the South Waziristan regional District extremism.
It is going to be the Province’s first initiative ever to have been, The “South Waziristan Education City” will be incorporating schools, colleges and Sub-campuses of multiple universities, all over the country even those in the province of KPK and far beyond that.
Barwand is going to be the area, where this Education city is going to be established, which is basically situated in the indegenous District’s Mehsud-Dominated region, throughout the past two decades, Terrorism was an important topic in South Waziristan. The terrorists groups sometimes demolished or established schools in the Hideout places in the region of Mehsud, which caused a negative effect on the educational systems.
The program director of Educational city, Najeebullah, stated in the Dawn News Platform, that the very first stage of the education city would be taking three whole years costing 2.5 billion to be accomplished. He also claimed that the Education city would be constructed on a 7000 hectares area of the region. He additionally Stated that government would not be spending any money on the purchase of such a huge piece of land, because the residents had donated it to them free of cost.
