Govt Announces Massive Increase in Petrol Price

The outgoing caretaker government has raised the petrol price by Rs13.55 for the next two weeks, bringing it to 272.89 Rs per liter and high-speed diesel is now priced at Rs278.96 per litre, reflecting an increase of Rs2.75 per litre. Additionally, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced to Rs186.62 per litre after a decrease of Rs0.24, while light-speed diesel’s price has been raised to Rs166.86 per litre, marking an increase of Rs2.03 per litre. This decision follows factors such as changes in global oil prices and other economic considerations.
