Since the development programs under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program began, Prime Minister Imran Khan claims that 250,000 job possibilities have been generated in the nation.
“Because cadastral mapping is critical for reducing incursion and increasing land revenues, provinces should move quickly to pass legislation to prevent land-use changes and protect green spaces,” he said at a national conference Coordination Committee (NCC) on Housing, Construction, and Development held here.
According to a news statement published by the PM Media Wing, the meeting was conducted to monitor progress on existing and new initiatives.
The PM remarked that cadastral mapping would contribute in the construction of a “genuine” land record database while receiving a briefing from Pakistan’s Surveyor General, Maj Gen Shahid Pervez. He stated that it will aid in properly recognising land demarcation and therefore reduce illegal encroachment.
