Govt Hikes LPG Price by Rs.59.6 Per Kg

Just a few days after the government increased the price of petroleum products, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority hiked the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by a whopping Rs59.60 per kilogramme.


The new price of petroleum gas increased with the increase and jumped to Rs263.95 per kilogramme. The price of an 11.8 kg household LPG cylinder has increased to Rs3,114.


In response to the rupee’s decline against the dollar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar raised the cost of gasoline and fuel by Rs35 per litre on Sunday. He also disclosed an 18 rupee increase in the price of light diesel and kerosene.
