Prime Minister Imran Khan has given his approval for the commencement of Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive, Pakistan’s largest sports talent hunt programme, in order to revitalise the country’s sports culture.
The plan was approved when Usman Dar, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, met with Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss it.
The biggest sports talent hunt in Pakistan will take place next week.
On the 6th of December, the Prime Minister will officially launch the Kamyan Jawan Sports Drive at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad.
During the initial phase:
The talent search would be held in 25 regions for 12 sports, including football, hockey, and cricket. Badminton, cricket, boxing, football, handball, judo, hockey, table tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, and squash are among the games shortlisted for the Sports Drive programme.
Pakistan’s Biggest Sports Talent Hunt programme includes the following activities:
District-level High-Performance Centers would be developed to train gifted youngsters.
