Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, announced various cost-cutting initiatives, including selling off the posh cars driven by government officials. At a news conference with members of the federal cabinet, the prime minister declared that they would return their expensive cars to be put up for sale.
The PM stated that if necessary, cabinet members may obtain one car for safety.The leader declared that when travelling abroad, cabinet members would fly economy and that their staff would not be allowed to accompany them.
They also won’t book expensive accommodations while travelling. According to the PM, ministers will no longer receive salaries or benefits and are responsible for paying their own expenses.
