A great decision by the Federal government on establishing an Interest-free banking system in the Country.
In the coming days, it will withdraw appeals filed against it in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
He prayed for divine guidance on imposing this new, interest-free system.
Ishaq Dar said Federal Sharia Court issued its verdict on imposing the Islamic financial and banking system.
“Because this is ordained in the Holy Quran, I believe the barometer of our decisions is the Quran and Sunnah, we all should follow it,” he said.
In recent years, imposing the Islamic system has been a great challenge and it faced many difficulties but now the federal government has decided to implement an Interest-free banking system.
“The government has decided in the light of teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, the two appeals against the Federal Shariah Court’s verdict by the government will be withdrawn, and work will begin to implement the system within a defined timeline,” Dar further said.
