The White House has introduced a new 24-hour digital streaming service called “Trump TV: The Essentials Station,” giving viewers direct access to content from President Donald Trump’s administration.
The platform, available through the White House’s official online channels, features Trump’s speeches, administration announcements, major public appearances and selected footage from earlier events. The White House says the stream is updated regularly and is designed to bring important administration moments together in one place.
The launch comes during an ongoing dispute between the Trump administration and several major US news organisations. CNN, MS NOW and Politico were recently denied access to the White House. The three organisations have challenged the decision in federal court.
The dispute has also affected the White House television press pool, with major networks suspending shared coverage. The launch of Trump TV has therefore created a new direct channel for the administration to distribute presidential footage while the wider debate over media access and press coverage continues.
