The decision to take over the ring roads project was made in the 8th meeting of the Public-private Partnership Policy and monitoring board, under the chair of CM Usman Buzdar, at his office on Thursday.
The CM wanted all the matters to be resolved at the earliest so that Govt could start the Rawalpindi Ring road and Kharian Dinga Road projects at its earliest through provincial resources.
The Punjab Information Technology Board requested, and it was then recommended that implementation authority be given to the Public-Private Partnership Authority of Citizens facilitation Centre. They will be established in Chakwal, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Lodhran in PC-1.
