Left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir recently talked about the supposed tensions between himself and Babar Azam, the current captain of the Pakistan cricket team. Amir made it clear that there are no underlying issues between them and emphasized the respect Babar has consistently shown him.
During an interview with a local TV channel, Amir highlighted that Babar was his junior when they played for Pakistan and sarcastically stated, “Babar is not someone I dislike or have any personal grudges against.
“Furthermore, Amir clarified his previous comments about Babar, explaining that he has always recognized him as a talented batsman in Test matches and One Day Internationals (ODIs). However, he has a different opinion regarding Babar’s performances in Twenty20 (T20) cricket.
