Heavy rains have been predicted across the country from July 22 to 26.
In this regard, NDMA has issued an alert that there is a risk of urban flooding in the low-lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Gujranwala, and Lahore due to heavy rains.
As a result of the heavy rainfall, landslides are anticipated in the hilly regions of Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On July 22 and 23, there is a chance of flooding in Dera Ghazi Khan and the other hilly regions of northern Balochistan. During the period of July 22–24, Karachi and Hyderabad’s low-lying districts could get heavy rain.
