Many cities in Sindh, such as Karachi, are expected to get a lot of rain starting from Thursday. The weather experts at the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) say there will also be heavy snow and strong winds in different parts of the country starting from February 29 and lasting until March 2.
A big wave of weather from the west is coming towards the western areas on February 29. It will likely affect most parts of the country on March 1 and 2.
In Sindh, places like Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Hyderabad, Thatta, and others might get heavy rain, wind, and thunderstorms on February 29 and March 1. There could even be some hail in some areas. Balochistan is also expected to have heavy rain, wind, and thunderstorms in cities like Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah during the same time.
From February 29 to March 3, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) might have very heavy rain and thunderstorms in cities like Peshawar, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, and Mardan. Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Kashmir could also experience heavy rain, wind, and snowfall during this period.
