Here’s How to get Hajj permit without ‘Mehram’?

The Saudi Arabian government has announced the procedure for obtaining a Hajj permit for pilgrims who intend to travel to the holy land without a male guardian (Mehram).

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has provided instructions for Saudi and non-Saudi nationals who plan to perform the Hajj pilgrimage without a male guardian (Mehram).

Saudi nationals can contact the civil affairs department under the interior ministry to apply online for a Hajj permit. Non-Saudi nationals should contact the passport department (Jawazat) to obtain their permits.

According to the Ministry, only those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 will be eligible for the permits, which will be issued from May 5th onwards.

The deadline for pilgrims to receive their vaccination is 10 days before the Hajj season. The Ministry has also set Shawwal 10th as the deadline for domestic pilgrims to pay the third and final installment of their Hajj reservation fees.
