The UAE Golden residency visa can be obtained by the salaried individuals whose employment is classified as ‘professional’ by the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE), having a bachelor’s degree, and earning a minimum monthly salary of Dh30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
If you meet the following conditions, you may be eligible for a Golden Visa based on employment:
- Obtain a work permit through a valid work contract in the country.
- Be a skilled worker at the first or second professional level, as per the occupational classification approved by the MoHRE.
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- Earn a monthly salary that is not less than Dh30,000 or the equivalent in foreign currencies.
- Hold a license to practice in professions such as doctor, pharmacist, teacher, and other occupations approved for the Golden Visa.
- Have comprehensive health insurance for yourself and your family members.
Documentation
The following documents have to be provided to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
- Copy of passport and Emirates ID.
- Copy of salary certificate.
- Bank statement (last six months).
- Employment contract.
- NOC from the employer.
- Qualification certificate duly notarized and legalized from the country you have obtained your qualification. Subsequent attestation by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
How to Apply
After submitting the documents, you can apply for the Golden Visa by the following way.
- Using the GDRFA smart application on their website or by visiting one of the approved typing centers in Dubai.
- If you are a resident of a different emirate, you may need to apply through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICA) or by visiting one of the typing centers approved by ICA.
