Rana claimed in an interview with a Pakistani TV channel that he has been singing for over 30 years and that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was his musical inspiration.
He also stated that Pakistani music organisations had approached him about signing a contract, but he had declined them because he did not want to change his vocal style.
According to reports, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, a self-described Pakistani musician and social media sensation, has set a high price for his upcoming performance in Canada.
He talked about his plans and engagements, saying he going to hold shows in Pakistan after Eid.
I will accept Rs 8 lakh for a show if anyone wants to get in touch with me about a concert, he stated.
“I’ve been invited to concerts in America and Canada by July,” he continued. The price of a show in the US and Canada is $8,000.
The upcoming concert in Canada is reportedly a private affair, and neither the location nor the expected crowd size have been disclosed by the organisers.
But a lot of people are interested to see if Khan will be able to uphold his reputation as a vocalist and justify the high ticket price he is asking for the performance.
