High Chances of Rain During Pakistan-India Asia Cup Clash in Colombo

Fans might be disappointed again as the Pakistan-India one-day match in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup on Sunday could be affected by rain. This situation is similar to what happened recently when rain forced the cancellation of the highly anticipated Pakistan-India match in Sri Lanka on Sep 2.

During the upcoming match in Colombo, various weather forecasts predict unfavorable conditions. AccuWeather predicts a 90% chance of rain and a 54% chance of thunderstorms during the day, with a 96% chance of rain and a 58% chance of thunderstorms at night.

Another weather agency, World Weather Online, forecasts moderate rain, especially at 2 pm local time, just before the match starts, with an 82% chance of 0.3mm of rain. Throughout the day, there are predictions of moderate rain and thunderstorms with multiple spells of rain.

Weather.com also agrees, indicating a 93% chance of rain during the day and a 97% chance at night, with thunderstorms and temperatures between 25 to 29 degrees Celsius. So, there’s a high chance of rain impacting the match.
