In a stunning discovery, a 500-year-old house has been unearthed during construction work in the city of Peshawar in Pakistan. The historic find is being hailed as a major archaeological discovery and is expected to shed light on the rich history of the region.

According to reports, the house was discovered by workers who were excavating a site in the Qissa Khwani bazaar area of Peshawar for a new construction project. The workers stumbled upon the house’s foundation, which was buried under several feet of soil and debris.

The excavation team, led by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Archaeology and Museums, immediately began work to uncover the rest of the house’s remains. The excavation process took several weeks, but the team eventually uncovered a large portion of the house’s structure, including walls, floors, and even some household items.

He also expressed hope that the find would help historians and archaeologists gain a better understanding of the region’s history.

“This discovery is a significant achievement for our department, and we are excited to learn more about this 500-year-old house and the people who lived in it. We hope that this find will help us understand the rich history of Peshawar and the surrounding areas,” said Samad.

The discovery of the 500-year-old house has also generated excitement among locals, who are proud of their city’s rich cultural heritage. Many people have visited the site to see the house’s remains and learn more about the history of the region.
