Historic Move! Punjab to Launch Pakistan’s First Provincial Airline, ‘Air Punjab’

Punjab’s Information Minister, Azma Bukhari, has announced that “Air Punjab” will start its operations within the next eight to twelve months.

The final approval for the “Air Punjab” project was given during a special meeting led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The airline will first lease four Airbus planes and will focus on flying within Pakistan in its early stages. Efforts are already underway to get the latest aircraft as quickly as possible.

Azma Bukhari told the media that this is a proud moment for Punjab. She said that “Air Punjab” will make travel easier and improve connections between different parts of Pakistan.

After completing its first year of service successfully, the airline plans to begin international flights as well. The project aims to offer a new, comfortable, and reliable travel option for passengers.

The government believes that launching Air Punjab will not only make traveling more convenient for people but also create new jobs and boost the economy. Special teams are working fast to set up the necessary systems, hire staff, and arrange everything needed for the smooth launch of the airline.

By starting with domestic flights, Air Punjab wants to build a strong base before moving on to international destinations. The project is seen as an important step in improving Punjab’s role in the aviation sector and offering people more choices for air travel.

With strong leadership and clear planning, Air Punjab is getting ready to take off and connect more cities and people across the country—and soon, around the world.
