Dramatic Escape! 14 Prisoner: Escape After Throwing Chili Powder at Police During Adiala Jail Transfer

Fourteen prisoners reportedly escaped from police custody after allegedly throwing chili powder into the eyes of police personnel while being transported back to Adiala Jail following their appearance in court.

The incident occurred when the prison van was passing near Chakian Post, where it had reportedly stopped for a routine inspection.

According to initial reports, the prisoners took advantage of the confusion created by the attack on the escorting officers and managed to flee from the vehicle.

Law enforcement agencies immediately launched a large-scale search operation in the surrounding areas to trace and apprehend the escapees.

Police later confirmed that four of the escaped prisoners were successfully recaptured during the ongoing operation, while efforts continue to locate the remaining ten.

Search teams have been deployed across nearby localities, with authorities using all available resources to track down those still at large.

In response to the incident, security has been significantly tightened across the region. Entry and exit points in Kahuta have been sealed, additional checkpoints have been established, and law enforcement personnel have been placed on high alert.

Authorities have also initiated a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the escape and have pledged strict action against anyone found responsible for negligence or involvement in facilitating the incident.
