Holy Kaaba’s Roof Cleaned by Saudi Team in 40 minutes, a New Record Set

In just 40 minutes, a specialized team of Saudi men managed to clean the roof of the Holy Kaaba, successfully setting a new record, the management of the Masjid al-Haram in Saudi Arabia said.

The management of the Masjid al-Haram reported on Twitter that in just 40 minutes, Saudi experts completed the cleaning of the roof of the Holy Kaaba, which was “a record”.

The photos taken during the cleaning process were also posted on social media by Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al-Sudais, the President of the Two Holy Mosques led by Imam-e-Kaaba.

The specialized team was seen wearing the ghutra, the traditional Saudi checkered headscarf, tied up with the igal, the black rope-like cord, as they took the “latest devices and modern mechanisms provided and approved by the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques” for cleaning.

The Kaaba administration, headed by Saudi Arabia has vowed to continue the cleansing process of the Holy Kaaba, for which a variety of programs have been set up.
