On Monday, Honda Atlas Cars raised the pricing of every model in its lineup, with certain models seeing increases of up to Rs550,000. The company explained the price rise as being caused by fluctuating exchange rates and rising material costs.
In a message to its dealers, the company stated that it was “forced to pass some of this detrimental impact through price rise, keeping in view the uncertain economic conditions, inflation in material cost and volatility of FX.”
After a price increase, the base variant of the Honda City now costs more than 4 million. Priced at PKR 4,069,000, the base Variant City MT 1.2L is now.
