Honda has introduced its first-ever electric bicycle, the e-MTB concept, at the Japan Mobility Show. Unlike many concept designs, this electric bicycle appears to be almost ready for production.
It utilizes existing e-bike components, such as a Brose mid-drive motor, while focusing on its design. It features components from various established companies, including SRAM EagleAXS drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic brakes, Fox suspension, RockShox Reverb dropper seat post, DT Swiss wheels, and Maxxis Minion DHF tires.
Honda aims to provide a unique riding experience that combines elements of both motorcycles and mountain bikes while making mountain trail riding more accessible for everyone.
