The Hungarian government has established a $84 million credit line for Hungarian businesses doing business in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation within the Framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Program 2020-22, under which the Hungarian government will grant 200 scholarships to Pakistani students each year to study in Hungary.
These developments came during a wide-ranging meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Hungary’s visiting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, at the Foreign Office on Thursday.
