“I Haven’t Seen a Comeback in Cricket like Sarfaraz Ahmed”, Wasim Akram

Legendary Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram has come out in support of skipper Babar Azam, stating that he should be given 2-3 years to prove himself as a leader.

He also stated that foreign coaches should not be brought in as they are likely to be replaced when the board changes, and instead, a Pakistan coach should be hired and given full support.

In an interview, “The Sultan of Swing” praised former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed on his successful comeback in Test cricket.

“I haven’t seen a comeback in cricket like Sarfaraz’s; the wicketkeeper-batter has performed brilliantly against New Zealand,” he said.

Wasim said that when Sarfaraz was captain, he never selected players in the team because of their background or city but rather based them on their performance.
