Haris Rauf, a fast bowler for Pakistan, said he will be available for the Islamabad police at any moment after receiving an honorary DSP rank on Tuesday.
Haris expressed his gratitude to the IG Islamabad, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, and the police of the nation’s capital for recognising his contributions for Pakistan in an exclusive interview.
“I am thankful to the IG and the Islamabad police for making me their goodwill ambassador,” he said. “Whenever they need me, I will always be available to them,” he added. Meanwhile, IG Islamabad said it was an honour for them to have Haris as their ambassador. “I am confident that he will set a good image for the Islamabad police,” he said. Â Â
