Former finance minister Miftah Ismail has linked his political future with former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Talking to members of the Council of Economic and Energy Journalists in a meeting, the former finance minister said that if Shahid Khaqan Abbasi left the PML-N and joined another party, he would be with him.
Miftah Ismail warned that if the IMF does not come by October or November, the chances of default will increase greatly.
He said that no offer has been made in the caretaker setup, only speculations are being made, the Muslim League was first stopped for talking about the government’s performance, but now there is silence on it.
