Madinah Introduces New Bus Routes, Cuts Airport Fare and Adds Direct Route to Masjid Nabawi

Madinah’s public bus network has introduced several updates aimed at making travel around the holy city more convenient and affordable for residents and visitors.

As part of the changes, the fare for the airport bus has been reduced to SAR 3.45. The service provides a lower-cost travel option for passengers travelling between Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and different areas of Madinah.

A new direct bus route has also been introduced between the Haramain High Speed Railway station and Masjid an-Nabawi. The connection is expected to make it easier for passengers arriving by train to reach one of the city’s most important destinations without needing additional transport arrangements.

The network has also added new stops and connections in other parts of Madinah. These include links between Al Jabal Park and King Fahd Plan in Baqdo, expanding public transport access for people travelling between the two areas.

Another new route operating along the Third Ring Road connects several important locations across the city. The route includes access to universities, the Technical College, University Hospital and Civil Affairs offices.

The latest changes are intended to improve connectivity across Madinah while providing residents, visitors and pilgrims with more affordable options for daily travel.

With additional routes, stops and connections, the updated network is expected to provide greater access to key transport, educational, healthcare and government facilities across the city.
