The ICC (International Cricket Council) honours Pakistan’s batsman Mohammad Haris’s appalling ramp shot against South Africa in the Super 12 of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup as the “Play of the Day”.
Haris, who smashed South Africa bowlers all over the Sydney Cricket Ground, played an acclivity shot off pacer Anrich Nortje’s bowling for a six.
Muhammad Haris scored 28 on 11 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes.
His magnificent hitting impressed veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The right-handed bowler admired his hitting in the first five deliveries of his knock.
