The final between India and Australia became the most-watched ICC match, with 87.6 billion live viewing minutes globally, marking a 46% increase from the 2011 final. India played a significant role, contributing 422 billion viewing minutes on the Disney Star Network alone.

The event also saw substantial growth in the UK and Australia, with notable engagement in digital and social media, making it the most digitally engaged ICC event ever.
