The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the nominations for the ICC Player of the Month Awards for July on Sunday, which honors the most outstanding performances from male and female cricketers across all forms of international cricket.
Fatima Sana, a right-arm pacer, finished the ODI series against the West Indies as Pakistan’s best wicket-taker, with 11 wickets at an average of 15.09. She returned with statistics of 4/30 and 5/39 in the remaining two ODIs, assisting Pakistan in both victories. Sana’s maiden five-wicket haul of 5/39 accompanied a quickfire 28* off 19 balls with the bat.
