“If India Decides to Stop, Then Pakistan will Stop as Well”, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that if India chooses to step back from rising tensions, Pakistan will also do the same. His comments came during a press briefing where he spoke about the recent situation between the two neighboring countries.

He explained that Pakistan does not want conflict and prefers peace in the region. However, he made it clear that Pakistan will not back down if provoked. “We are ready to defend our country, but we are not the ones looking for a fight,” he added.

Dar said that the responsibility to calm the situation now lies with India. If India shows restraint and avoids further escalation, Pakistan will also act sensibly. He stressed that war is never the solution and that both countries should focus on dialogue and cooperation instead of hostility.

The foreign minister’s statement sends a message of peace while also showing Pakistan’s firm stance on national security. It reflects Pakistan’s hope for stability, but also its readiness to respond if needed. At a time of growing regional concerns, Ishaq Dar’s words aim to encourage calm and avoid unnecessary conflict between the two nuclear-armed nations.
