Recently in the first ODI cricket, Pakistan beats the Proteas (South Africa) by three wickets and the credit for this also goes to Imam-ul-Haq who contributed to make 177 runs in partnership with the captain Babar Azam.
Meanwhile, it happened right after his fellow, the opener, Fakhar Zaman got dismissed; at that time Imam-ul-Haq made an inning of 70 from 80 balls that laid the foundation towards victory for Pakistan.
However, in the ODIs, Imam-ul-Haq did not completely utilize his first powerplay like since 2018; and due to this he has made the to the lowest strike rate of only 66.47 in the powerplay of world’s cricket; while leaving other batsmen to just cover a lot of the ground in remaining overs.
